The Most Secret of Saturdays: Part 3 - Finale

Greetings and bien venue one finale time for this topic! Today we view the last sets in the line of The Scret Saturdays Minis. Lets have a look!

Shame there isn't anymore..
These are the largest playsets within the minis toyline (sadly there wasn't one in scale with the larger figures, so these are technically the largest playsets in the entire line). Both sets are based on the ships piloted by the heroes and villian.

 Big trouble in little Tokyo
When closed, this playset is based on the airship/of the titular Secret Saturdays. A design I rather like, it blends modern and older designs into something both sleek and calls to mind something you'd see back in the days of prior to the Hindenburg. When open, this set is based upon the episode in which the Saturdays went to Japan in search of the havoc causing Hibagon, who is featured with Zak in this set. Again, for the scale of these, they pack in quite a few features. The monorails alternate back and forth when you press them, mirroring the fight scene on both trains from the episode. There is also a net (which looks kind of like a spiderweb) meant for capturing the Hibagon. When raised, the platform on the large building swings open the broken window, and finally, the zipline can be ridden by Zak down onto the boat using his claw. I can just keep saying "overall, a great set!', but you are tired of that by now lol.

Someone must of said a funny, because the sides of this are splitting.
Last, but certainly not least, "Argost's Jet Threat". Based on his neat, somewhat ray inspired jet planet, this set is almost entirely based on the first episode of the show. The only thing that doesn't fit the episode, is Argost holding Drew's Sun Sword, which if I recall he doesn't get his hands on until the end of the series. If my guess in this being based on episode one is true, it is based on the fact this is a jungle, includes V.V Argost, Zak, and Zon (the pterosaur) and a couple of the features. Speaking of, this set has quite alot! First off is some vines on the tree in the first image can be used to hold a figure in place, the next picture has a swinging branch with a platform to hold a figure. After that, another rotating tree branch, the end can be used to hold Zon in a flight pose, and under that is an open hole for figures to fall down into. Finally on the spider panel, is a small piece of dirt with a hinge, it can be lifted up to reveal... Absolutely nothing, like in show after Argost steals the tablet it contained. Another thing supporting that this is based on episode one is that a couple panels have footprints of the cryptids encountered in the Amazon. Lots of neat little details put into a rather unconventional setup. Props to Mattel for going back to their Mighty Max roots for a bit to deliver these sets.

That is it for this week! Stay tuned for my next post, its one for generations!
